This Year, It's About More Than Skin
As we celebrate our 5th anniversary, I find myself reflecting deeply on how far we’ve come—not just as a brand, but as a community that chooses care, progress, and purpose.
From the very beginning, Ice Secret has always stood for more than skincare. When my mother, Dato’ IceMichelle Chen, co-founded Ice Secret, her mission was clear: to help people with solutions that truly work for Southeast Asia’s unique, humid climate. Her passion for creating science-backed products that deliver real results lit the path forward.
In 2020, just before I graduated, I went through my own acne journey. I experienced firsthand the frustration, the emotional toll—and eventually, the power of healing. That’s when I felt drawn to continue the mission she began. I wanted to help others feel seen, understood, and confident in their skin too.
Today, it’s been half a decade, and what keeps me going is still that same belief: That purpose matters—not just in the products we create, but in everything we do.
In March – Conversations That Matter
This year, we had the privilege of celebrating International Women’s Day with our Ice Secret community at Seletar Country Club’s Women’s Golf event. The theme? Resilience in Motion. Resilience isn’t just about bouncing back—it’s about moving forward, gracefully and powerfully, even through life’s challenges.
Following that, we spotlighted eating disorders, body image, and how feeling good starts from within. One of the voices who made this conversation so powerful was Xuanyun, a national Muay Thai athlete, who shared her raw and honest journey with body image as a competitive fighter.
Her story reminded us that true strength is built not just in the body — but also in the mind and heart.
